Just a side note: We were actually not expecting another child, let alone a boy, until 2009 due to the delays in China. We were not given "special" treatment in any way. This was a complete surprise, as last week, we had asked our agency to put us on a special needs list, where we can adopt a child with a minor "special" need (cleft palate, etc). A few days later, we were informed that there is a little boy who was initially diagnosed with a congenital heart defect but later, the defect "disappeared". We were asked to consider this boy. We took a look at the labs and discovered that this is a perfectly healthy boy, who just needs parents to love him. We asked the Lord if we should be his parents. I think you know the answer to that one!!!

Veteran's Home Run June 2008

"Run, Forest, Run!" Paxton ran this nice leisurely 5K in about 26 minutes. He's hoping to shave a few more minutes off the next time. He has inspired Lisa to train hard and run the Classic 10K in July. Will she do it? Only time will tell.

Here he is, finished, and relaxed. It was a cold morning, so Hope got to wear the t-shirt they give runners. I think it's a tad large...
